Substrate Preparation:- Aged surfaces are generally very chalky and this must be removed by thorough scrubbing with a green scourer and water and rinsing. This can be achieved with a high pressure water cleaner. New Colorbond or less than 6 months old that has not been subjected to everyday weathering conditions, abrade the Colorbond substrate with SOLVER Line 4510 Solprep Degreaser, using a green scourer to remove plasticiser exudation from applied paint system on surface of sheet. Rinse clean with water. For areas that have gone back to bare steel, CONTACT TECHNICAL SERVICE for advice. |
