SUBSTRATE:- Asbestos
Description:- Cement based sheet reinforced with fibrous cement. No longer in production due to the carcinogenic nature of the asbestos fibres. (Production ceased approx. 1982).

Area of Use:- Roof and wall sheeting, eaves lining.

Substrate Preparation:- Surface area must be clean, dry and must have mould/fungal contamination tested before coating.

NOTE:- Surface preparation requires special attention to ensure NO asbestos fibres are released into the atmosphere or waterways. ALL cleaning water MUST be collected to retain fibres. Refer local government authority for guidelines.

In severely deteriorated substrates e.g. old Super Six Roofing, it is more economical and successful for long term durability, to completely remove material and replace.
