SUBSTRATE:- Aluminium - Architectural

Description:- Smooth, shiny, soft, non-ferrous metal.

Area of Use:- Window frames.

Substrate Preparation:- Surfaces require scrubbing with a plastic scourer and SOLVER Line 4510 Solprep Degreaser to remove oxide layer. Do not use steel wool as fibres embed in surface and will lead to aluminium corroding to protect steel. Note that the surface will oxidise rapidly after cleaning. Highly polished aluminium requires sanding with 320 grit wet & dry abrasive paper to micro roughen surface.
